Siva Ventures Limited (SVL) (formerly known as Aircel Televentures Limited) was the holding company of the various telecom entities of the Sterling Infotech Group (SIG) which consisted of Aircel Limited (Mobile service provider in the Rest of Tamil Nadu, Southern India), Aircel Cellular Limited (Mobile service provider in Chennai Metropolitan telecom circle, Tamil Nadu) and Dishnet Wireless Limited (Dishnet) (mobile service provider in North and eastern part of India). In March 2006, SIG divested its stake in these telecom entities for an amount of US$ 1.08 Billion. SVL presently is the principal investment vehicle of the Group.
